Attention new and returning students! Come audition for our production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis! We are looking for actors with passion, a strong stage presence and work well in an ensemble. Some characters will be required to speak with an accent so if you have experience with that, it is a plus!

Please prepare a dramatic or comedic contemporary monologue that is 1.5-2 minutes in length. Make sure the monologue is completely memorized and you have done a substantial amount of work on it before you come to present it for auditions.

The play has religious themes and mature content. Please make sure to read the play before you audition so you understand the characters and the storyline. Casting preferences will be given to actors that do so. Some characters use strong language so anyone auditioning should also be aware of this. Students who audition should know that they are required to enroll in the THA-201 Rehearsal and Performance course for the Fall term. Community members that are not matriculating students may join the cast as a volunteer. Students that are interested in enrolling in THA-201 as a backstage/technical crew member can show up during auditions and speak with the director.

Auditions will be held Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13th 5pm-7pm. Callbacks by invitation only, Friday, August 14th 5pm-8pm
